Ingredients

Serves 1

Ingredients for the banana bread syrup:
1 ripe banana, mashed 
250ml water
200g brown sugar
1-2 tsp cinnamon 
Pinch of salt 

For the coffee:
250ml PureOaty Barista oat drink 
2 shots espresso 
Handful of ice

Directions

  1. Add the mashed banana, water, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt to a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Lower to a medium to low heat and simmer for ten minutes, stirring continuously. 
  2. Take it off the heat and strain it to get rid of any lumps. Add to an airtight container and store in the fridge for 2 weeks. 
  3. Add a handful of ice to a glass, pour in the oat drink, syrup and espresso and top with a little bit of cinnamon.
