  • 200ml Coconut milk
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4g ground arrowroot
  • A splash of coconut


  1. To make the caramel. Add the coconut milk and brown sugar to a saucepan and heat to a simmer. Add the coconut oil and the salt.
  2. Mix the ground arrowroot with a splash of coconut milk and whisk into the caramel. Boil gently for about 30 minutes making sure it does not boil over. Allow it to cool to thicken.
  3. Warm gently when ready to eat and serve with fruit and biscuits of your choice.
