Cleaner
The role
This role will suit a hard-working individual with excellent organisation and housekeeping skills, an in-depth knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses would be an advantage along with a working knowledge of health and safety standards in the food industry and an ability to work well under pressure.
the responsibilities
Key aspects of the role include:
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspections
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Taking apart machines and cleaning them to the highest possible standard
• Assembling the machinery back together
• Work with cleaning materials and substances
• Notifying management of machinery needs repair
• Perform cleaning tasks including (but not exclusively) to toilets, kitchen areas, commercial offices, production work areas and corridors
• Replenishment of kitchen and washroom consumables
• Attend to any spillages as quickly as possible to eliminate any Health and Safety issues on site
• Maintain assigned cleaning cupboard to the standards and requirements
This is a 40-hour-per-week role, typically Monday to Friday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm.
