Sales Support Co-ordinator – Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary function of the Sales Support Co-ordinator role is to help maximise profitability for Glebe Farm Foods, for current and future activity, through the provision of excellent customer, and sales team, support and proactive administration of any internal / external customer related issues.

 KEY ASPECTS OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

 –      Support and assist the Sales team and Marketing department with all sales related administration.
–       Initial contact for Glebe Farm, assist, and guide customers/suppliers/visitors with the required knowledge of the Glebe Farm organisation, site and facilities.
–       Deal with all customers enquires ensuring all documentation is filled in an accurate and timely manner.
–       Monitor the complete order cycle, from receiving an order and sending out an order confirmation to completed delivery. Handling any issues that may arise during the process.  
–       Follow up order status both internally and externally and make any required changes to existing purchase orders due to changes in supply or demand.
–       Regularly check with wholesalers to ensure they have all relevant and up to date Glebe Farm product information on their website.
–       Liaising between sales and Marketing regarding promotional activity.
–       Updating and maintaining accurate sales orders information on Sage 200.
–       Managing the sales database, updating customer management system and all other databases.
–       Support with travel arrangements and catering plans for customers as well as members of the sales team.  
–       Any other tasks that may reasonably be required by the business.

With a passion for customers and an enthusiastic approach, the Sales Support Co-ordinator will handle administrative duties, liaise internally with other departments, and promote customer satisfaction. The Sales Support Co-ordinator will support sales and marketing team members and coordinate sales-related activities while not being responsible for selling products.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

This role requires the following technical skills and experience: 

·      Proven track record of customer, and sales, support activity.
·      Proven experience in most of the following: CRM system and Sage 200.

Marketing Executive – Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary function of the marketing executive role is to help maximise the growth of Glebe Farm Foods, through B2B and B2C marketing and promotional activities. 

 KEY ASPECTS OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

·      Conceive and develop efficient and effective marketing strategies.
·      Organise and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, print, email, PR etc.), exhibitions and promotional events.
·      Organise market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.
·      Oversee surveys to assess customer requirements and sentiment towards the brand
·      Write accurate and engaging copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.).
·      Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to maximise opportunities in promotional activities.
·      Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance.
·      Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
Plus any other tasks that may reasonably be required by the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

This role requires the following technical skills and experience: 

·       Proven experience in a commercial marketing position delivering multi-channel activity – with an emphasis on digital.
·       Understanding of branding and tone of voice and seeing them adhered to in the creation of marketing content and materials.
·       Confident in planning and delivering content; possessing strong copywriting skills that combine accuracy and humour.
·       Familiarity and aptitude with social media channels essential, including Facebook / Instagram advertising (note: you will not be required to implement a campaign, but you will need to brief, oversee and evaluate campaigns).
·       Experience with WordPress (or similar) and design packages advantageous.

Production Operative / Packer – Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

·      To follow instructions of Site Management and fulfil daily tasks as and where required.
·      To maintain the product flow, integrity and traceability throughout the production process.
·      To complete daily / weekly / periodical cleaning based on hygiene schedule
·      Operate and carry out job set tasks
·      Ensure have been briefed and understand all relevant risk and method statements
·      Use best/safe practice on all tasks carried out
·      Checks on any equipment that may use
·      Ensure safe tidy place of work
·      Ensure the completion of works is on time
·      Implement best practice procedures
·      Maximise use of own working time
·      Ensure signed up to all permits and briefings before commencing any work
·      Communication with site management
·      Communicate with site supervisor on any health and safety concerns
·      Feedback to site management with near miss/close call reporting
·      Ensure attend all site briefings, forums and toolbox talks

Skilled Operator – Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

·      To follow all the Company’s Health & Safety rules and guidelines at all times, reporting any ‘Near Miss’ or specific incidents immediately;
·      To ensure all the relevant HACCP, quality, specification and GMP procedures are followed at all times, achieving the required standards;
·      To comply with and assist other staff in HACCP, quality, product specification and GMP procedures;
·      To report any failures or non-conformances in Health & Safety, HACCP, quality, specification, GMP and maintenance;
·      To maintain a high standard of hygiene at all times, as specified in the Company’s hygiene procedures;
·      To maintain good team work and take personal responsibility for the task you have been assigned, prioritising customer demands when required;
·      Be responsible for the area in which you work by being organised and ‘Cleaning as You Go’;
·      Ensure waste is fully segregated in line with company procedures
·      Palletise finished goods using pallet patterns
·      Cleaning of equipment and area in line with policies
·      Cleaning of glass breakage in line with company policies
·      Escalate issues to line leader/packing supervisor
·      Ability to operate hand/electric pump truck competently
·      Verification of component codes against specifications
·      Verification of product attributes against packaging specification
·      Label/film changeovers
·      Ensure all finished goods transferred to warehouse have trace information and relative paperwork completed
·      Fully trained and competent on EQMS operations
·      Escalate equipment and GMP issues and suggest possible solutions
·      Competent on all aspects of line equipment and basic fault finding
·      Complete equipment and area checks
·      Safely operate machinery to agreed Standard operating procedures. 
·      Achieve daily operational plans and KPI’s

Warehouse Operatives – Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·      Ensure compliance with health and safety/food safety and hygiene controls
·      Maintain GMP standards in area
·      Ensure waste is fully segregated in line with company procedures
·      Stacking of pallets as required
·      Remove waste and keep yards and work areas clean and tidy
·      Able to safely use hand pump trucks
·      Responsible for the picking process including completion of pick sheets
·      Able to identify material and product varieties
·      Communicate non-conformances to management
·      Assist with stock takes
·      Complete paperwork returns and assist with the collection of quality samples
·      Infeed and collection to/from Productions Areas and Goods In.
·      Responsible for all goods received and attachment of traceability labelling
·      Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and correctly in line with Sage200 controls
·      Working closely with Operation to ensure right products are delivered as and when required to ensure optimum stock levels at all times in production floor.
·       Qualified and able to operate a minimum of 3 different type of truck used by the Business
·       Load and unload lorries

Food Factory & Warehouse Operatives – Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To assist machine operator to ensure smooth production, including moving pallets with finish goods and raw materials around the production area and warehouse. The role involves:

Follow instructions of Site Management and fulfil daily tasks as and where required.
To complete daily / weekly / periodical cleaning based on hygiene schedule.
Check on any equipment that may use
Ensure safe tidy place of work
Ensure the completion of works is on time (managing own efficiency too)
Ensure signed up to all permits and briefings before commencing any work
Communication with site management
Communication with site supervisor on any health and safety concerns
Feedback to site management with near miss/close call reporting
Ensure attendance of all site briefings, forums and toolbox talks

Monday to Friday, 6am until 4pm. Salary competitive

Requirements:

Flexibility on hours (other shift times available)
Ability to communicate in good English
Own transport
Forklift license.

Experience in food manufacturing is not essential.

Laboratory / Grain Inspector Technician – Part Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

As instructed by the Senior Laboratory/Grain Technician, or in their absence the Grain Manager:

·      Carry out sampling and testing/checking of production grain and flaked products
·      Test samples of incoming oats
·      Sample test stored oats provided from stock held at third party stores as necessary
·      Complete documentation timely, accurately and legibly
·      Assist in checking grain quality
·      Carry out weighbridge duties as required
·      Conduct and support scientific investigations and experiments
·      Plan, set up and undertake controlled experiments or trials
·      Prepare media, chemicals, solutions for testing as required
·      Collect, prepare and/or test samples
·      Record and analyse data
·      Demonstrate test results and report results using a computer and paperwork
·      Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly
·      Ensure waste is properly removed
·      Assist operations where necessary with regards to technical/quality issues
·      Communicate with other departments as necessary
